Along with all the handmade valentines waiting in Sparrow Post, including many, many doll valentines, the girls found new aprons waiting for them.
A bit wrinkled already, they are being worn often, but not for cooking, because they are afraid to get them dirty. So I guess we still need some new kitchen aprons. Sounds like fun sewing to me.
I have had this fabric since last spring, really love it, happy I have more of it.
I also really love french seams.
I'm working on another special apron project already, but it's a bit of secret... I will share a little more soon though.
(and yes, I know it's not really wednesday yet...)

I love that fabric!
so darling!! :-)
that is lovely fabric - it's the ... oh no, I've forgotten the name - something sprites - um! We have it in purple and I have made a couple of bags from it so far but have metres left to make a kimono for my girl - which has also been in the pipeline for almost a year!
These aprons are beautiful Renee! I Love the fabric:)

Such a nice idea. My girls would like aprons as well. Love the fabric.
That fabric is breathtaking!
A girl can never have too many aprons; especially if they are so pretty! I made Hana a skirt from that same fairy fabric which we both love! The fabric you set with it is just perfect...

Gasp!! Where, oh where did you find that fabric?!? Please do tell!
Well I am in love with aprons, and yours is gorgeous! So lovely to hear you have a sparrow post at your house, we read a seasonal celebration book of Tasha's last night and I sat with it a bit longer wanting to jump into each scene : ) It is so fun when we can bring her inspiration to life!
That fabric is beautiful Renee... Sewing is something that I would like to do more of.
Thanks for sharing. You have such lucky girls.
Warm wishes, Tonya
These are so beautiful! Wow, did you use a specific pattern? I just love them!!!!!!!!!!!
Cute! I want to come to your house and have a play date!
Hi Renee! I just wanted to stop by and wish you Happy Thursday.
That fabric would have me never deciding what to do with it, it's so pretty. I would just want to stare and dream into it.
i adore that apron! and i adore french seams too. i still remember my grandmother teaching me how to do them. how cute that they don't want to get them dirty. you'll have to make them some plain old boring ones now. but that isn't possible is it? aprons just aren't boring. ever. i'm going to put one on now.
Gorgeous aprons, that fabric is great! I don't blame your girls, I wouldn't want to get something that pretty dirty either.
i just learned all about french seams... i really love that apron! nice work!!
oh my! i love that fabric so!! can't blame the girls for not wanting to soil them. ;)
Hi friend! Play date and a sew date! We could make a weekend out of it.
Your aprons came out so pretty Renee!
I love that fairy fabric. I hope you all are feeling better. Sorry you've been sick...it doesn't make it any easier when you're overloaded to begin with. Sending love and light your way!
