wool love, baby love...

..

And now it is the middle of November, cozy days (super freezing days actually...) I feel good and happy that I have been able to knit up quite a few warm woolens lately.

And I will be having a baby sometime soon.

We prepare, I knit, we look forward and feel so excited about this magical season that is coming, and this little one who has come to be a part of our family.

Dear friends, who have offered so much love and support during all these past months, are very much in my thoughts and heart. I have obviously been quiet here, and will soon be even more so, but I will be sure to check in when I can to share our happy news with you.

I hope everyone has a beautiful and full of joy coming holiday and advent season.

With love...

(and I guess knitting notes, pattern details, (not to mention blocking..) and the rest of the woolens will have to wait until after baby is born...)

Dear Renee...
Oh goodness, how swiftly the time flies and already, already!, your baby is getting ready for our world. What a happy happy time for all of you! I love the knitting you've done...beautiful. Enjoy these last few days as a family of four...they will surely be memorable and looked back upon with fondness. And now...well, now...I need to connect with you in a better way than this :)

So sweet. I have a friend who is due soon too. I just finished a little hat and gnome. It was fun to be knitting small things again.

Hello beautiful friend, I have been thinking about you and had a feeling the babes were coming soon. Your little knitted woolies are so adorable. I have so little time to knit these days even so I have a baby in my arms all the time. The twins are now 5 months and growing so fast, they are smiley and giggling - just so precious. I can't wait to see your new little one. I am thinking of you at this beautiful time, just waiting to hold your tenderling in your arms. The girls must be so excited. Write to me when you can - special blessings for your birth Renee. Much lovexxx

Oh so dear and sweet! I was just thinking of you this morning and wanted to check in. This, to me, is the right time of year to be very pregnant (having 3 winter babies and all of that!). But also that inward shift, the darkness and light, hunkering down, making things cozy...all of it just fits. A season of life that matches the yearly season.

All of the best to you! I look forward to your happy news!
