..
Into the forest on a day that truly felt like spring. (We haven't had all that many of those days yet, but it is finally starting to feel like it's definitely here...)
A few miles along the trail until we reach the place where we can head down to the river.
The river flowing so very strong, but these fallen logs create a safe little space for wading and playing.
A warm sunny day, but that mountain water sure is cold...(Freezing!!!)
She was talking to a little bush. She found a rock with a shallow indentation and used it to bring drinks of water to the bush.
Not sure who she was talking to...
And then we saw that she had two different socks on. And Jason says, "You can't go hiking with two different socks on." And Chessa says, "But then I would have had to go hiking with only one sock on."
It was such a beautiful day!
Hope you weekend was filled with lots of beauty and happiness!!!

ReplyDeleteThese are lovely photos of a lovely day! Did you make the shirts the girls are wearing? I like them a lot and they would look sweet on my daughter. Did you use a commercial pattern?
ReplyDeleteWe have had some cold, rainy days here. I don't think I'm brave enough to try the Arkansas River yet but we are a least getting our herb and veggie garden planted! Hope the nice weather stays around for a bit longer.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Spring! Glad it's made its way to you at last :-)

ReplyDeleteI also love Chessa's logic: little children seriously have the BEST notion of how things go! I swear, they're all more reasonable than us grown-ups, really.
