beautiful (snowy!) morning

..

This is what we woke up to on Sunday morning...

It had started snowing the evening before...

Saturday we had spent the entire day outside, enjoying the sunshine, working on a new garden space...

Sunny early spring days always need to be taken advantage of here, because you never know when there could be a brief return to winter...

I really enjoyed the light growing stronger through the trees on this cold and quiet early spring morning!

It kept snowing most of the day, the clouds doing their best to chase that sun away. Nice and cozy, a good day for handwork, and books, and pancakes...

Hope your weekend was beautiful too!!!

So beautiful, Renee! I can feel what it was like. I hope you got some good sewing done this weekend! I thought of you and emailed both you and Jules while in the middle of making Ella's skirt . . .

Snow is beautiful. But truthfully, I am glad to see it gone for this year.

Yes Melanie, I loved that you wrote to me in the middle of your sewing time, and I was sewing then too!

I agree, I have no need for anymore snow at the moment. But we had a fairly mild winter this year, freezing, but not much snow, so I knew it could be a snowy spring and I am prepared to deal with it, I think... Fortunately it has all melted back away!

Still snow, I'm sure you guys are ready for some warm spring days. It's so so hot here renee, we are hiding from the sunshine already. I am so tanned. The trees are lovely dressed in their little snowy dresses. Many kisses sweet family.
