WIP Wednesday (on Tuesday evening)

I am very happy to say that I have finished my little pumpkin. Once I had all the various pieces knitted I abandoned the pattern, and things got especially amusing when I attempted the stem, but it's done, and I think it does look like a pumpkin, so I will consider it a success.

One doll is finished too, though still naked. I have grand plans to have the dolls completed by November 1st, but I also want that little needle felted doll to be finished for our nature table, and I have not worked on her at all. She may have to take priority over the dolls. We'll see what happens...

Hope you are all having a nice cozy autumn week. I think we are about to get some snow here!

I love the doll! :-)

I have no patience for sewing up things, so I admire your lil' pumpkin.

Renee I love your banner so very much, I feel a connection to it since we spend many days running and playing in our golden fields. I can almost see it swaying in the autumn breeze : )
Well, I already knew that you were very talented but it is certainly beautiful to see the work of your hands in this space!
I love your doll, her hair is lovely and your pumpkin is wonderfully detailed.
It seems there is so much warmth in your home, I believe handwork the making and the admiring adds so much love to our days!

Look at your doll! So sweet, love her hair too.
I wanted to pop in and say hello, I linked over from Sara farmama. I like how you described yourself.. almost too shy to be writing... I know the feeling, but moments in this life is just too special to keep hidden... like your handmade doll. I am glad you chose to write!

Beautiful doll. I'm quite fond of red-haired dolls, being a red head. ;)

Renee, you are very creative, I love all that you have done...especially your daughters little felt project which brought color to your home. It's always different with little boys, today mine were making tables and chairs for their mooses. I made a doll the other day they love but I always seem to make their heads way too big for the body...
