a day in early april

 ..

It's her sister's bonnet. I may start sewing a little one for her this weekend. Sunbonnet. Even though we just had two days of snow. Lots of good blue sky days before that, outside days, cold fresh air, warm sun...

I will be here to visit again next week. Really I will.

Wishing a happy beautiful weekend to all..

Dear Renee, you live in such a lovely place- with such big old trees!
The bigger girls are looking so big lately! And it's so nice to see you, Renee! Sweet, sweet Elsa in her sister's bonnet!

Such a beautiful family in a beautiful place. Are they your horses? They're lovely, and what space they have to roam!

Dear rennee,
it's a real pleasure to read and see your blog. I'm agree with mama ash grove, what a chance to live in a such country.
My daughter Adèle love to have such bonnet, she is fond of the 19 century she wants to wear long dress and i must make her a bonnet.
You're a good "couturière" do you think one day to come back on etsy ???

Oh, it's so pretty there! I always love the photos you share, and oh, especially when there are horses and a sweet baby! Those woods are beautiful ~ brings back memories from my Colorado days. Are there any pasque flowers coming up yet? I always got so excited to see them in the spring, poking up through the snow. :)

Isabelle, You are so sweet, and thank you for visiting again. I hope you do make a bonnet! And yes, someday etsy again, but for now just sewing for family.

Gail, We love her vest! She wears it almost every time we go out. (Not that we go out much though...) And soon I think she will fit well into the so lovely cardigan you knitted for her :)

Kate, I'm curious about your time in Colorado. We have not seen any pasque flowers yet but I will think of you when I see some!

Hello sweet friend...Oh, this just delights me to my toes...it is a beautiful place here...every little inch of it...and the trees, those trees!!! So much goodness to look forward to! I think I need to save the rest for an email...when I have a moment (maybe this weekend?). And also, those Easter dresses ~ more, please. As in more photos on your trio of lovelies. Renee, what promises and good things are on your horizon...hooray!

Dearest Renee, such wonderful news hearing about your land. What a relief for your family and horses. You are all looking so well and little Elsa is so sweet and adorable. I love the photo where you are lying down together. What an amazing castle and so many knights and soldiers the girls are quite talented with their beeswax modeling. The boys are making houses yet I have little time to post. Soon I hope. I am happy for you. Sending you all lots of love and happiness. xxx
